Social Dancing Reminders: Please wear shoes you can dance in; boots and sneakers are discouraged. Clothing should be movable and comfortable. Remember you will be in close vicinity with other students when partner dancing, so please be considerate with your grooming and hygiene.
Off Campus Dance Venues
- Chevy Chase – Washington, DC.
- Dance Haddonfield – Haddonfield, NJ. Every Sunday from 6-10pm, they offer intermediate lessons + beginner lessons + food for $15. Couples or singles welcome!
- Danza Academy of Social Dance – Center City, Philadelphia, PA.
- La Luna Dance Studio – Bristol, PA.
- Rutgers University – New Brunswick, NJ.
- Society Hill Ballroom – Philadelphia, PA. Every Friday from 7:45-10pm, they offer a beginner lesson and dance party for $20.
- Stardust Ballroom – Bellmawr, NJ
- Take the Lead Dance Studio – Hockessin, DE. Most Fridays, Saturdays, and Sundays, they offer lessons, snacks, and social dancing for $10-$15.
