Joining the Team

Prospective players are always welcome to the program!

The Void program is proud to have room for anyone who wants to play.

NSO

During NSO, Void always has a table at the SAC fair and the NSO Sports Clubs fair. Come find us there to sign up!

After NSO

Please see our schedule for practice information. The first couple weeks of practice are combined practices with Void and Null, and everyone is welcome to join. After that, we begin tryouts, which is a several-weeks-long process, and anyone who wants to try out for Void can do so, but for those who don’t, Null will begin practicing separately, but at the same time and on the same field. Once tryouts have concluded, new players continue to be welcome to practice with Null.

Additional Info

Whether you’ve played at the highest level of competition, never played before, or somewhere in between, we want to have you as a part of the program. Null is a great program for teaching the game to new players as well as providing fun competition for people who have played before. Our programs are very tight, and every year a lot of players move from Null up to Void. This year, two of our three captains are players who started their careers on Null, and many more of our essential players started on Null.

In addition to competition level, Void and Null have different expectations for commitment. Void players will typically be expected to attend three practices per week, as well as 2-3 tournaments in the fall and 4-5 in the spring. However, we understand that this is not always possible, and can be lenient in smaller cases. Null requires a lower level of commitment – Null hosts two practices per week, and typically attends 2 tournaments in the fall and 3 in the spring. Null is also more lenient in terms of attendance and welcomes new players at any point during the year.

If you are joining mid-season or did not get the chance to sign up at our NSO events, please email us, or find a captain or our president at practice to get signed up for our mailing list.
