We use innovative remote sensing, geophysical instrumentation, and data synthesis techniques to address scientific questions and operational needs in a changing cryosphere. We are broadly interested in how and why glaciers change and in synthesizing ground-based and satellite observations into usable, societally-relevant, open-source data products. Our research takes place in Greenland, the Arctic Ocean, Antarctica, Alaska, and High Mountain Asia. We are increasingly interested in studying the impacts of a changing cryosphere on local communities, infrastructure, and logistics.
